Student Organizations

To be recognized by the University, a student organization must have an advisor selected from university's full-time faculty or staff membership and a constitution approved by the Student Government Association through the Office of Student Activities. Once approved the club/organization may apply for funding through the Student Budget Committee (SBC). Find out more information about how to form an organization from the Office of Student Life.

Alpha Omega

Advisor: Ms. Megan Toth

Alpha Omega is a student-led campus fellowship organization that fosters Christ-centered relationships and spiritual growth. Held in the Learning Center, weekly meetings include guest speakers, off-campus activities (e.g. concerts, movies, etc.), service projects and fellowship opportunities, and is supported by the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO). Activities are open to all Pitt-Titusville students.

Small Groups: A number of small groups and Bible studies are available each semester.

Worship Opportunities: Interested in helping with worship? We are always looking for gifted musicians & vocalists.

Conferences and Events: Alpha Omega attends Leadership Together (SRU, Slippery Rock, PA); the Jubilee Conference (Pittsburgh, PA); and Passion Conference (D.C/Atlanta, GA).

American Chemical Society (ACS)

Advisor: Dr. Kristi Peters

This club is established to provide students interested in chemistry a chance to explore the world of chemistry more in depth.


Advisor: Ms. Holly McKenzie

The cheer squad promotes and upholds team spirit to support good relations in the community and between teams and squads during events.  Our goal is to work in harmony with the coaches, advisor and school administration.

Commuter Student Association (CSA)

Advisor: Ms. Stephanie Fiely

This organization assists the commuter students in academic pursuits and promotes participation in campus activities.

Phi Theta Kappa

Advisor: Dr. David Fitz and Ms. Stephanie Fiely

Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society is a prestigious group of scholars from over 1,100 two-year colleges across the United States, Canada, and abroad. The mission of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage scholarship among college students. The three-fold purpose of the Alpha Pi Zeta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Pitt-Titusville is 1) the promotion of scholarship and the stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence, 2) to provide the opportunity for the development of leadership and service, and 3) the cultivation of lively fellowship among qualified students of this college.

Only a few select students are invited to join Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society with membership contingent upon scholastic achievement (GPA of 3.5 is required), as well as evidence of high moral standards and good citizenship.

Membership in Phi Theta Kappa is a highly coveted honor that will enrich your life while you attend Pitt-Titusville through participation in its social events and community service projects, and will also remain with you as you pursue your further educational or career goals.

Student Activities Board (SAB)

Advisor: Ms. Stephanie Fiely

The SAB is the primary programming organization at Pitt-Titusville and book entertainment, host entertainers, and publicize events. SAB is a member of the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA).

Student Government Association (SGA)

Advisor: Ms. Sherri Patterson

This organization provides a forum for student input into decisions affecting student life. SGA monitors expenditures of student activities fees.

Student Organization of the Pitt-Titusville Nursing Program

Advisor: Ms. Elizabeth Flickner

This group hopes to unify the members and to encourage them to work collectively as a group to promote professional, social, educational, and cultural issues that are central to the professional development of student nurses.

Students in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program Club (SPTA)

Advisor: Ms. Joyce Carbaugh

Students in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program are members of the SPTA Club. The Club’s mission is to promote personal and professional growth while encouraging learning and involvement in health care.

Club members participate in various events including the APTA’s National Student Conclave and sponsor local events such as the Wellness Series held on the Pitt-Titusville Campus.
